The Crown line of kettles is built for efficiency and durability, featuring a double-wall interior that forms a steam jacket around the lower two-thirds of the kettle. This steam jacket is filled with distilled water, which is factory-sealed to ensure optimal performance and heat retention. The kettle’s hemispherical bottom design allows for superior heat circulation, ensuring even cooking every time. Mounted on a pedestal base, the unit includes four 7/16-inch holes, evenly spaced, for secure floor mounting. Constructed from all-welded, #4 finish type 304 stainless steel, the kettle is designed for longevity and easy cleaning, while the interior liner is made from 316 stainless steel to withstand high-acid content cooking. The unit features integrally mounted controls that include a power switch, thermostat, pilot light, low water light, vacuum/pressure gauge, safety relief valve, and low water shutoff for enhanced safety and convenience. A faucet bracket is also standard for added functionality. For added convenience, this kettle is equipped with removable heating elements, a 2” (50mm) sanitary draw-off valve with a perforated strainer, and a spring-assisted, hinged stainless steel domed cover. It operates within a temperature range of 165°F to 285°F (74°C to 140°C) and can reach a maximum pressure of 50 psi (345 kPa), providing consistent and efficient cooking performance. The kettle is ideal for high-volume applications and is built to withstand the demands of any busy kitchen environment.
